Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 May 2026
This is the privacy policy for LochLens (lochlens.io). LochLens is currently in pre-launch development. This policy describes the limited data we collect during this period and how we handle it. It will be updated when the product launches.
What we collect
- When you submit our early-access form, we collect the name, email address, organisation (optional), and use-case description (optional) you provide.
- We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
- We do not use advertising trackers, pixels, or fingerprinting.
How we use it
- To notify you when LochLens launches.
- To understand which use cases to prioritise for early access.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.
Storage
Signup data is currently stored in your own browser’s localStorage — this page is a static site without a backend yet. When we provision the LochLens backend (Firebase / Firestore on Google Cloud), we will migrate signup data into it and update this policy accordingly.
Your rights
- You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@lochlens.io.
- You can opt out by simply not submitting the form.
- If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA. Contact us to exercise them.
Changes
We will update the “Last updated” date when this policy changes. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
